Isla Corazón

This island is located inside the protected Chone River estuary, just 30 minutes from Bahia by boat. The island is formed by mangroves which are used by a significant variety of seabirds as their nesting area. Isla Corazon hosts one of the largest colonies of Frigate birds in the South Pacific. The island is also a privileged habitat, in which more than 50 different bird species have been registered. This makes for GREAT BIRDWAT
